If you're using something below 7.0, you should definately update your browser.  IE 6 is particularly troublesome.

If using Internet Explorer (IE) 7.x or 8.x for Windows:

• Under the Tools menu (top right) select "Internet Options..."
• Select the Security tab.
• Pick the "Internet" icon (first one).
• Click on the "Custom Level..." button.
• Look for the "Scripting" section (almost at the bottom) from the Settings list.
• Choose the "e;Enable" radio button from the "Active scripting" item.
• Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.
• Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
• Restart IE.
